working principle:
An incremental encoder is a rotary sensor that converts rotational displacement into a series of digital pulse signals. These pulses are used to control the angular displacement. The angular displacement conversion in the Eltra encoder uses the principle of photoelectric scanning. The reading system is based on the rotation of the radial indexing plate #40; code wheel #41; which is composed of alternating light-transmissive windows and opaque windows, and is simultaneously illuminated by an infrared light source, and the light projects the image of the code wheel to On the receiver surface. The reading system is usually differential, comparing two signals with the same phase but 180° phase difference; to improve the quality and stability of the output signal.
